Hidden and visible
Hidden from the public
- Your order, from every chart and order book
- Your price, until a fill settles it
- The wallet that gets paid, until it is
- Where the coin went, in Ghost mode
Still visible
- That a fill happened, on the tape
- The coin, the size and the price against spot
- A resting order's coin, size and wallet, to anyone reading the escrow on chain
- SOL arriving at your fresh wallet
The limits
Offchange is not zero-knowledge: the protocol knows which wallet sent and which received; the public doesn't. Privacy also grows with the crowd. A coin with only a few bags in the pool is easier to read, which is why the pool and the dashboard show how many orders are resting right now.
The escrow itself lives on chain. Anyone who reads the program's accounts can see that a wallet has an order in a coin, and how big it is. What they can't see is the price or where the money goes. If even the size shouldn't point back to you, open the order from a fresh wallet.
